To Palestine and Back: The Scenic Route

I attempted to post a news clip below of our homeschool group's ride on the Polar Express. The layout didn't work out, though you can access the video. Here are some pictures from that day:
Emma and I are enjoying the cold weather while we wait to board the train.

Emma and her girlfriends love to sing together, especially Danny Boy.

This was a second TV interview.

This is a Catholic church in New Waverly, TX, that was built in the early 1900s to serve the Polish community. We stopped here on our way home and read the historic marker sign.

Our last "stop" was actually a private drive-through Christmas light display. Donations were accepted on behalf of the family's parish to be used for the poor.


Emma thought Nathaniel would like this University of Texas icon, so she photographed it for him.
