Photo via WikipediaMy pride was considerably deflated this morning when I looked at my blog statistics and saw that of all my posts, the one that received the most hits is one in which I wrote nothing, just provided a link to what someone else wrote.
Humiliation: it's a good thing, especially during Holy Week.

Glad you liked the picture. I wish I had taken the time to dig up a peacock photo of my own. We used to have two peacocks when we lived in Louisiana.
I do know the Greek origin of the peacock's tail; I just can't remember it. The answer may bubble to the surface by morning, though.
