Sweet Tart

Sometimes our failures turn into triumphs.

Emma had some girlfriends over to bake pies for a luncheon honoring teachers at Queen of Angels Academy. When one of the pie crusts shrunk, they appraised the situation and decided it would make a perfect tart shell. So they filled it with pastry cream and practiced arranging fruit on a plate until they acheived the look they wanted and could top the tart with confidence. I'm sure it will be the star attraction at the luncheon today.
