Home Again

Well, I am back from our week-long 30th anniversary trip. It was truly wonderful!

We left Nathaniel and Emma in charge of the "farm", and I am happy to report that everything went well. Their success causes me to look at my mothering role in a different way. I'm still pondering the changes I feel called to make. More later.

Anxiously wondering and waiting to hear more on those "changes." Remember, Wendy, you're mentoring those of us w/ younger ones still at home. ;-)

Arrrrrgh! Too much responsibility, Cay! The delete button looks awfully tempting.

Oh, Wendy, you always have good thoughts. Please share. I'm always interested in the journeys of other hsing moms.

Winifred,
What ever changes you have to make, always remember the sage like council "be who you are and say what you feel, because those that mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind" Theodore Geisel (the wordmeister). Bev and I savored the visit of our Wendy and Herb, get the bamboo cutting board and give him a love tap for me.

Thanks, Stephen!

I'll restrain myself with the cutting board "paddle", though. After 30 years, I've learned that I may get him once, but "paybacks are hell".
