So Pretty, Yet So Practical

Wooden butter molds from Lehman's. Make your butter beautiful, whether it is home-churned or store-bought. Great wedding present idea, too.

Winifred,
The butter molds as great wedding presents, is that a hint? After all you and Herb are about to celebrate your 30th, I think I'll get you all of them. That way when I come visit I can enjoy beautiful butter on my waffles!

Stephen
Your adoring brother in law that must consume ugly butter.

Although I would delight daily in dining on beautiful butter, the pleasure of your company as we celebrate our anniversary is a finer gift. Hugs to you, my dear Stephen.

Those are very pretty. I think my mother used to have one when I was a kid and we made our own butter from our neighbour's raw milk.

I went to Lehman's once, when I was 11 years old. It was, I think, the neatest store I have ever been in.

Well, now my dear Emily, I know for sure you had a charmed childhood: You had raw milk butter, prettily molded by your mother.

I would LOVE to go to Lehman's, but I'm afraid I'd never be able to leave and therefore must restrict myself to catalog shopping.
